I'm really excited to review today's edible for you! We're going to discuss
Dogg Treats, part of the
Leafs by Snoop line. These are the
Cherry Fruit Chews, not to be confused with the Cherry Gummies.

The very first thing you notice about ANY of the Leafs by Snoop line of marijuana products is the insanely AMAZING packaging design. Someone put a lot of time and thought into making these look appealing to the general public. Every single edible in the Dogg Treats line shows equally astounding packaging. It's also a little ingenious when it comes to the child safety features built into the packaging itself!

How the child safety feature works: Press both of the tabs into the box at the same time. Pull the plastic interior tray out while pressing the tabs in. Once you've done that, slide the tray out and check out the lovely little edibles inside!

As with most of the Dogg Treats edibles, the entire package contains 80mg of THC spread out over 10 pieces of candy. Most edibles come in 100mg sizes, so I was a little sad that the Dogg Treats contained 20mg less than what I'm used to.

I'm not going to lie. I'm in love with the Dogg Treats line. I've had the Cherry Gummies a few times, and they're so yummy that I'd eat them without any THC! The Cherry Fruit Chews are no exception. They are the same consistency as salt water taffy (a staple back in my homeland of New Jersey), and taste just like cherry taffy should taste. There is no noticeable hash taste, which makes this Bunny very happy!
The effects are gradual, unlike the sudden onset of the Americanna Gummies I reviewed yesterday. Sliding into a nice mellow buzz seems to be a specialty of the Dogg Treats. Not a bad thing, but not good if you're trying to get fast relief.
All in all, I'm in love with the Dogg Treats line of edibles. I plan on continuing to try the other flavors out as money permits. I'm sure they'll be delicious too :)
It's worth noting that Starbuds has an agreement with Leafs by Snoop to carry their EDIBLES in Colorado. They are not carrying the flower that Snoop put out (yet).
